Best in town hands down. Friendly, great food, and great service! Highly recommend this spot to anyone who is looking for a Japanese style lunch or dinner. Great selection of food and owners make sure everything is going well.

Absolutely wonderful local sushi and teriyaki spot. Prices are low, portions are plentiful, and there is rarely any wait for takeout! Cozy interior.

This is a small family owned restaurant in Milwaukie but the sushi is very good. Another local place I frequent

Food was delicious. Sushi was fresh. Miso soup was great. Tempura veggies were nice. Teriyaki was good. So much food. Great value. Cozy little unassuming place. Friendly service.

I didn't want to the secret out about this place but it's too good not to share. If you're looking for a no frills, affordable place to get sushi/japanese food, look no further. It's family owned and the couple who owns it are so welcoming. The sushi is so affordable and doesn't lack on freshness or flavor. They even serve miso soup and salad with every order! You definitely get the most bang for your buck here without the sacrifice of quality.

The only affordable delicious place left in this damn town! Cozy family vibe with great service. 11.95 for all of this food!!! So good

The sushi here is excellent. So fresh! I love that every meal came with miso soup and salad. Very nice perk! I had the shrimp and veggie tempura and chicken teriyaki, and an Oregon roll. The sushi was perfect. Salmon was very fresh. The tempura was slightly undercooked so there was a doughy batter inside of the bigger pieces and some veg were pretty crunchy. I prefer more cooked through. And my chicken was over cooked, pretty dry. The teriyaki sauce was delicious!! We would def come here again. I'd even try the tempura and chicken teriyaki again :) just my honest feedback!

This has been one of our favorite restaurants for many years. We eat in and order take out from here regularly. The food is ALWAYS amazing and we love the staff. My absolute favorite is the spicy chicken bento box. It has a little of everything and make the perfect meal! The tempra veggies are delicious and we've enjoyed many of the different sushi rolls. The food is always fresh and flavorful. Updating with pictures of the most recent menu. We'll be back here many more times in the future.

Excellent lunch stop. Cuts of fish were butter tender, large, and prices are unbeatable! The tempura batter on vegetables & shrimp was light, crisp and not oily. Love the healthier, sesame rice grain rolls that accompany your bill, over the fortune cookies +food coloring of other Asian restaurants. Donburi, Udon, Yakisoba, Teriyaki, Stir fry dishes with asparagus or snow peas are also on the menu in this small dining room with about 9 tables & no outside dining. Minimal corakage fee of a $1? or Sake & plum wine available here, no Beer but call ahead to make sure but they allowed me to BYOB previously. Green Tea is amazingly loose leaf, in cast iron or porcelain teapot, and only a $1 each, again price cannot be beat! Many charge three times that for a Costco teabag. Owners/Servers Mui Yong & Joe are also warm hearted and so welcoming, I love to chat with them. With few sushi lunch options on the East side of the river in Milwaukie, McLoughlin Blvd to Oregon City, this has become a mainstay for our local sushi fix. Again this part of town will not compare to a downtown experience like Murakutei, my fave, but in a sushi desert this certainly is an oasis! :)
